San Martin by Seven Lakes Road

Duration: Full dayBeautiful landscape displayed by route 231, we travel across a winding and wooded road that covers the North coast of lake Nahuel Huapi, and that leads to Villa la Angostura. After a short detour we will continue by the Seven Lakes road observing on the way the lakes: Espejo, Correntoso, Escondido, Villarino, Falkner and Machonico, to enter San Martin de los Andes bordering Lake Lacar.
Here you can visit the Chapelco tourist complex, the beaches of Quila Quina and Catrite and the Arrayanes circuit that offers a beautiful view of the city and the lake. After lunch we begin the return journey up to the end of the paved road. Bordering the picturesque Meliquina lake and next the homonym river, we finally arrive in the Stone House. Short stop for a visit, it is a cave in the rock that can be reached without any difficulty at all.
At arrival to Confluencia, on the right Traful river will accompany our way down to route 237 for the return to San Carlos de Bariloche.
