Located at the end of Misiones’s province in the north of Argentina and surrounded by the leafy vegetation of the rainforest you will find Iguazú Argentina and Brazil National Parks, with more than 270 waterfalls. Iguazú means in the Guarani language " big waters ". They were so named by the Guaraní aborigines who still inhabit the zone. This majestic falls of waters of the river Iguazú, are a unique natural spectacle that have not only been named World Heritage by UNESCO, but also one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
The Iguazu River and the cataracts are the natural border between Argentina and Brazil, and they form together with with Paraguay a milestone of three borders.
