Cafayate & Valles Calchaquies

Leaving very early in the morning and passing by several small villages as Cerrillos, La Merced and El Carril -among others- we travel up the gulch that leads to the valleys, continuing the way of the De las Conchas river. Curious mountains of diverse colours belonging to the tertiary period will be encountered; the aridity of the landscape abandons the place to open the way to vineyards responsible for famous wines in the area which indicate the proximity of Cafayate and its cellars.
