Day 1 / Santiago

  • Transfer Santiago airport / hotel in Santiago
  • HD City tour Santiago with San Cristobal hill: The tour starts with a visit of the civic center of the city, where there is “La Moneda” – a palace in a neoclassic style, which was once the residence of Chilean presidents until 1958 and now is home of the government. We continue through the streets in the center of Santiago in direction Plaza de Armas, surrounded by the Cathedral Metropolitana of the XVIII century, the National Historic museum and the “Correo Central” – main post office. Leaving the center we will continue passing the Forestal Park and in front of the museum Bellas Artes until Bellavista, bohemian district of Santiago. We will continue going up Cerro San Cristóbal, beautiful public park on which peak you will find a monumental sculpture of the Virgin Mary. From this place you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the city. Later we will continue passing through the residential and commercial areas Providencia, Las Condes and Vitacura.

Day 2 / Santiago

  • FD Viña del Mar & Valparaiso: We will start this excursion from your hotel to travel 110 km, across a diversity of landscapes and vegetation that will show you the agricultural valleys of Curacaví and Casablanca. Once we have arrived to Valparaíso we will enjoy the view of the clusters of houses right along the hills which harbor the main commercial port of Chile and also the current Legislative Capital of the country. Valparaíso has once again undertaken the progress route which in the last century made it one of the most important ports of the Pacific Ocean. This complete and scenic visit to Valparaíso includes a visit to La Sebastiana (except Mondays), former home of our Nobel Prize winning poet Pablo Neruda (price does not include the entrance). Continuing with our tour we will drive along the coastline road to Viña del Mar, capital of the Chilean tourism. The Ciudad Jardín (Garden City) called this way due to the impressive parks, walks and beautiful buildings; its famous Casino is an exhibit of the aristocratic and exclusive character imposed by its founder Don José Francisco Vergara. While traveling by the beaches of Viña del Mar (scenic view) we will stop for lunch for approximately 1 ½ hours (not included). We will stop at Reñaca its main beach, which has several prestigious restaurants and modern buildings with Mediterranean architecture that makes it one of the most exclusive places of the country. Mid-afternoon we will be returning by the coastline road to take the Agua Santa route towards Santiago.

Day 3 / Santiago

  • HD Viña Concha & Toro: The tour begins at the entry Portal. Visitors are cordially received by a bilingual guide who will invite them to visit and learn all about one of the Chile’s most traditional vineries. To began with, your will walk through the winery’s ancient park, whose extraordinary beauty and harmony are an invaluable legacy of Chile’s landscaping history. Next, one can admire the casona´s exterior, previously the summer residence of the Concha & Toro family. In Pirque´s vineyards, one can learn about growth and development of vines and dedicated work they require.

Day 4 / Santiago

  • HD Valle de la Luna: Description: 19 km from San Pedro, in the Salt Mountain Range, is the Moon Valley, declared a nature sanctuary and monument and protected by the uniqueness of its beauty. It consists of a depression surrounded by small hills with impressively sharp peaks. The tour is an imaginary trip to landscapes that do not belong in our world, but to other planets. We will see Dinosaur Valley and Death Valley, where there is a spectacular panoramic view of the area. We continue to Moon Valley, where we will find geological formations that are the result of successive foldings of the earth's crust. Towards dusk, a bold palette of golds and reds appear, touching the soul and sensibilities of the visitor.

Day 5 / San Pedro de Atacama

  • FD Lagunas Altiplanicas & Salar de Atacama with lunch: : Atacama, the largest salt flat in Chile, has the one of the largest flamingo reserves in the country (the National Flamingo Reserve). We will head in on a small path, towards Chaxa Lake, in order to see and identify the different flamingo species in the area. Miscanti and Miñiques Lakes, located at 4,220 meters, are also part of the National Reserve, and are managed by the indigenous community of Socaire. The eruption of the Miñiques volcano one million years ago caused the water that once drained to the Salt Flat to stagnate, giving rise to these two highland lakes with their blue water and white shores. On the way back, we pass through Socaire, a pre-Columbian town, known today for its typical Atacama cuisine.

Day 6 / San Pedro de Atacama

  • FD Geiser del Tatio: We leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama Hotel to go to the Tatio Geysers, a geothermal center with geysers that can only be seen very early in the morning. After seeing this spectacular sight in a magnificent natural setting, we eat breakfast. On the way back, we see the majestic Andes mountain range, whose peaks seem close enough to touch. We then arrive at Machuca, a small llama herder settlement. The village is filled with adobe houses with thatched roofs. Green wetlands lend a special charm.
